How I spend my free time
I have a high-energy German Shepherd/Collie named Kira who is just as curious about our planet as I am. When we’re not exploring new lands and waters, I’m either throwing pottery, taking care of house plants, practicing photography, or planning my next visit to a National Park.

Photography
I've been taking pictures since my parents handed me a hot pink Concord camera back in the 90s. I've upgraded my equipment since then, but my excitement to capture the world around me has remained — and grown even stronger, because now there's more intention behind every shot.

Pottery
Until a few years ago, becoming a potter was something I thought about but didn't actively pursue for one reason or another. Since picking it up, I've invested in a pottery wheel of my own, have a small collection of tools, and get to problem solving with every piece while challenging myself to try new techniques. I hope to have my own backyard studio one day, and maybe even a small storefront.
